About Andrew Mozingo

I’m a mission-driven HR professional and career coach who’s spent the last decade helping people feel seen, supported, and equipped—whether they’re navigating a major life event, managing a team, or figuring out what’s next in their career.

My background spans government, nonprofit, education, and private industry, but no matter the setting, my focus has been the same: people first. In my current role, I support more than 1,300 employees through leave and benefits programs like FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Comp, and Paid Parental Leave. These are often sensitive, high-stress moments in a person’s life, and I view my job as more than policy—it’s about providing clarity and compassion when it’s needed most.

Over the years, I’ve also led projects in leadership training, employee engagement, process improvement, and team development. I love stepping back to see the big picture—but I never forget that every HR strategy impacts real people with real stories.

Outside of HR, I also serve as a career coach and resume strategist. I’ve helped emerging professionals and seasoned leaders alike clarify their goals, write stronger resumes, prep for interviews, and take meaningful next steps in their careers. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and work to help people move forward with confidence.

I hold a Master’s in Executive Leadership and certifications in Project Management Essentials, Workers’ Compensation Administration, and School Business Operations—and I’m currently pursuing my PHR to keep growing.
